Noise Assessments

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 (R5), require employers who are likely to expose employees to noise levels of 80dB(A) or above to conduct a risk assessment of the level, duration and type of noise exposure.

Using ‘state of the art’ equipment we can provide an assessment that gives specific noise levels. This will enable you to make more accurate and cost effective judgements about the control measures necessary.

Our service will include the following:

  • advising on statutory and regulatory duties
  • promoting best practice
  • estimating the daily noise exposure
  • recommending noise reduction measures
  • hearing conservation programmes
  • hearing protection

Due to the complex nature of this type of assessment, research and report writing will be required.
