Who Should Attend?
Professionals supervising young children in their care, including teachers, au pairs, childminders, nursery staff, playgroup leaders, etc
Course Contents
The course covers similar subjects to the ones taught on the adult first aid course but material is adapted to deal specifically with children.
The content looks at:
- care of the unconscious child
- CPR (following guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
- choking
- bleeding
- minor injuries
- burns
- fractures
- minor illnesses
- treatment of shock
Course is delivered onsite at a client's premises, with a maximum number of 12 delegates.
