Emergency first aid at work (EFAW)

Who Should Attend?
First aiders from organisations in lower risk category. This course must be repeated within 28 days of EFAW certificate expiry.
Course Contents
Course looks at the role of the first aider; preventing cross infection; recording incidents and actions; use of available equipment; situation assessment, acting safely, promptly and effectively; and cardiopulimonary resuscitation (CPR).
It provides instructions on first aid for casualties who are: unconscious / having a seizure / choking / wounded and bleeding / in shock and covers first aid for minor injuries such as small cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns, scalds and small splinters.

Start time is 9am - 4pm with a lunch break.
An optional packed lunch is available for £5 pp per day. Please order at time of booking. Onsite group training is available for up to 12 delegates. Prices/details on application.
