Course Contents
This two part course offers specialist training for anyone working in environments with specific hazards eg cyanide and hydrofluoric acid, and also for first aiders.
The training can be adapted to any specific hazard and is delivered in two parts:
A three hour morning session for operators and first aiders which covers:

CoSHH
-
risk assessment
-
specific hazards
-
datasheet information
-
disaster planning
-
accident recording
-
toxic effects of specific hazards
-
treatment of specific hazard
This is followed by a three hour afternoon session for first aiders only which covers:
-
safe use of oxygen
-
safe resuscitation techniques
Cost of morning session: £225 +VAT for up to 10 delegates. Certificate is valid for three years.
Cost of full day session: £510 +VAT for up to 10 delegates. Certificate is valid for three years.
However, first aiders are advised to attend an annual revision session for oxygen use and resuscitation techniques.
Cost of three hour annual session: £270 +VAT for up to 6 delegates.
Venue: courses are delivered onsite at a client's premises.
