Specific Hazard

The Health and Safety at Work (first aid) regulations 1981R3(2)(b) & Approved Code of Practice (1997) (P13,P50) require that first aiders have additional specific hazard training. Cyanide and Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) are recognised as being ‘specific hazards’.

Training

We can train your first aiders in the specialist techniques for dealing with Cyanide and Hydrofluoric Acid contamination. The course programme is modular and the training can be adapted to any specific hazard identified. The course is structured to allow awareness training for operators attending only the morning session.

Courses held on your site using your own oxygen equipment to ensure competence of your first aiders.

On site £525.00 plus vat & mileage max 10 persons.

At MOHS £125.00 plus vat per candidate.

Our Specific Hazard Trainer is Glen Musgrove who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
