Douglas Ackroyd
Douglas Ackroyd is an accredited occupational physician who works in independent practice.
He has worked in occupational health for over 20 years in mainly clinical delivery and management for large organisations including the RAF, British Telecom and Serco Occupational Health.
As a Member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, there are few areas within the speciality of occupational health that Douglas doesn’t have considerable hands on experience in delivering.
Douglas’ strengths lie in communication and he enjoys the challenges of getting the important messages about health and work out to key stakeholders. He enjoys being part of a team and working closely with colleagues, human resource and operational management professionals, unions and individual employees.
