MOHS is open for business

MOHS Workplace Health is open and ready to support you with your Occupational Health needs, either at our office in West Bromwich, or, where possible, at your company’s site (nurse & technician delivered services only).

In most cases, assessments and service delivery will be as before, but in certain cases, services may need to be modified to keep both your and our staff safe. Give us a call if you have any questions.

Before meeting one of our staff members, appointment attendees should consider the following:

If you are suffering with or have suffered with two or more of the following symptoms in the last 14 days, you should not attend your appointment. You should stay at home, self- isolate and seek medical advice if your symptoms get worse. Please let us know if this is the case.

Fever (feel hot to touch on your chest or back).
Dry cough (does not produce mucus)

New loss of taste or smell

  • Shortness of breath
  • Repeated shaking and/or chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue

If you are suffering with only one of the above symptoms, but also have one or more of the symptoms listed below, you should not enter the building, but go home and remain alert – not everyone infected with COVID 19 exhibits the same symptoms.

  • Diarrhoea
  • Sputum, or coughed up mucus and saliva or a blocked nose
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Confusion or feelings of dis-association.

Note: When a person has contracted COVID 19, it can take 2–14 days for symptoms to appear. The average incubation period appears to be roughly 5–6 days. You may remain infective to others for up to 14 days after symptoms have ended.
