Managers at all levels need to recognise and understand some of the most common signs and symptoms of mental health conditions in the workplace to enable compliance of the Equality Act 2010.
This full day awareness training course is designed to give those with managerial responsibility an understanding of common mental health conditions in the workplace and the possible effects they can have on individuals, teams and the overall organisational welfare.
This course will raise managers’ awareness of the most common disorders, enabling them to recognise some of the signs, symptoms and behaviours, and learn the most effective ways of managing a member of staff with either a suspected or diagnosed mental health condition.
This course also raises awareness of the stress response and how it impacts on mental health.
All managers will, as part of this training, use our elearning stress awareness programme as a pre course exercise.
All courses are inhouse and customised to the organisation’s ethos, policies and procedures.
