Developing Management Competencies to Manage Bullying and Harassment

Cost: £525 + VAT for up to 15 delegates

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) has estimated that more than 50 percent of stress cases at work involve bullying, indicating a need for training.

This half day training course is designed to give those with managerial responsibility an understanding of bullying and harassment in the workplace.

The HSE Stress Management Standards specifically highlight managers’ responsibilities in creating a workplace which is free from bullying and harassment.

And employers are increasingly starting to realise the negative effects that bullying and harassment can have on the workplace.

For example, once a formal complaint of bullying has been made, it is extremely difficult to restore working relations between those involved and the consequences can be very damaging.
