Emergency Paediatric First Aid is an accredited qualification 1-day course that provides professionals working with young children with the skills and confidence to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation.

In fact, this course is useful for anyone offering childcare and are therefore governed by the Childcare Act 2006 in offering:
"any form of care for a child, including education or any other supervised activity."
*Furthermore, following a consultation for the provision of Paediatric first aid in 2016, English government confirms that:
"all newly qualified staff with level 2 or level 3 childcare qualifications [are] to have full or emergency PFA training."
