IOSH 4-colour logoMOHS offers three distinct IOSH–accredited courses:

  • Working Safely;
  • Managing Safely;
  • Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing (launched March 2019!).

Our experienced and highly qualified trainers deliver them all in a highly effective and interactive way.

What's more, you can choose to do the training here at our bespoke West Bromwich training facility or at your own premises. See the different price points for training at your venue below.

Why IOSH?

Protecting the health and safety of employees is vital. And it's the law. All employers must know how to protect their workforce and provide staff with the means to protect themselves.

Our training can provide your organisation with the skills and confidence you need to help reduce risk, incidents and accidents at work.

None of the courses are tied to a specific industry sector, but they are exacting in their detail. That means you get expert information you can use across a spectrum of industries.

Managing Safely

Who should take the course?
…Managers and supervisors who are responsible for managing other staff.

We deliver the IOSH Managing Safely course over three days. Delegates can either take the course:

  • over three consecutive days in the same week, or
  • on the same day each week over three consecutive weeks.

The 2019 costs for the Managing Safely course are:

  • here at West Bromwich: £400 per person + VAT;
  • At your premises: £2,500 + VAT;
    • in both instances, the maximum number of delegates is 12 people (IOSH Standard).

Successful delegates will achieve the IOSH-accredited "Managing Safely" Certificate.

Go to IOSH Managing Safely Course for our overview and booking details.

Working Safely

Who should take the course?
…anyone who acknowledges the importance of working safely in a safe environment.

IOSH's "Working Safely" course is much shorter than the Managing Safely. It's a one day course aimed at all levels of employee and covers basic health and safety. In addition, it looks at improving safety performance, which in turn reduces risk exposure and sickness absence days.

The 2019 costs for the Working Safely course are:

  • here at West Bromwich: £150 per person + VAT;
  • At your premises: £1,000 + VAT;
    • in both instances, the maximum number of delegates is 12 people (IOSH Standard).

Successful delegates attain the IOSH-accredited "Working Safely" certificate or a credit card sized 'passport' card.

Visit IOSH Working Safely course for more info.

Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing

Who should take the course?
…Managers and supervisors who are responsible for managing other staff.

IOSH's Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing course combines dealing with tangible risk with that we can't touch or see. As well as introducing the five health hazard categories, it covers awareness of problems employees may have of their body and mind.

The 2019 costs for the Managing OH and Wellbeing course are:

  • here at West Bromwich: £150 per person + VAT (back to £180 after the March launch promotion ends);
  • At your premises: £1,200 + VAT;
    • in both instances, the maximum number of delegates is 12 people (IOSH Standard).

Successful delegates attain the IOSH "Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing" certificate.

Visit the IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing course page for a lot more detailed information on this upcoming course.

Our modern training facility is located a few hundred yards off junction 1 of the northbound M5. If you can't make it here, talk to us about coming to deliver any of these courses on your site/premises.

At present, we have no set dates for the Managing Safely and Working Safely courses; we'll train you in line with your schedule.

We do have dates for the launch of our Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing course during March:

  • Thursday 14th March;
  • Tuesday 26th March.

If you're interested in this course, it's well worth trying to get in on the March dates. Not only will you be an early adopter, but you'll save £30 per person before the course returns to its proper £180 thereafter.
